Recipe : Snow Cocoa / Marcella Smith

SNOW COCOA!!

Although this looks like a simple recipe, it is extremely delicious. Works well for those very few that don't like chocolate. haha I have used it for 2 years at my Ladies Christmas Coffee and there was not a drop left!  I doubled the recipe with out any trouble. If it is too rich you can add a bit more milk. Also you can make it on the stove top if you are in a hurry, just be careful not to scorch the chocolate. You may want to use a double boiler for melting the chocolate. Found this recipe on Pinterest. :)Perfect for the holidays! Enjoy!
Snow Cocoa
Ingredients -
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 6 cups milk (I usually use whole milk or 2%)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 oz pkg. white chocolate chips (try to use Ghiradelli if you can – YUM!)
Directions -
  1. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.
  2. Heat on low for 2-2 1/2 hours or until chocolate is melted and mixture is hot.
  3. Stir well to blend.
  4. Enjoy from a Snowman mug on a chilly day.
